The Winning Picture

I know it's been about 4 months but they have been busy. Wow. Anyways, remember when I entered this photo contest hosted by Gotta Pixel? Well, I won!!! This is the winning picture. I do have to say that it turned out pretty cool.
What I won was a free course called Beginning Photo Editing. It is done by Lynn Weber on the Debbie Hodge website. Check it out. They have some neat classes you can take.

Another Picture (or three)

Alright I think I'm becoming obsessed with this feature. I'm just playing with it and seeing how good I can do it.

When I did this picture I had to name it Sing Sweet Nightingale (Cinderella movie.) She is actually singing this song as she is doing this. I love kids and their roll playing. Grandma was standing over her and blowing bubbles around her.
This is my homage to Twilight! For some reason people think the first one looks like a Twilight cover. The second one reminds me of it too. White skin and the color of the flowers too (in some way.) Anyways, there you have it.

Progressive Scrap

At Scrap Orchard and Gotta Pixel they are doing a progressive scrap each week. If you participate then you get a free kit. I came in late so here is the second week.

Last week it started out as three papers and three photos. This week you have to add two fasteners, three ribbons, and one stitch.

Caelan's Birthday Party Favor

Here is the wrapper I designed to go around a Hersheys Chocolate Bar. It was for my daughter's birthday party favor. She had a chocolate party so this was perfect.

Recipe Card

I have been playing around with recipe cards. I like pictures to show me what the recipe is going to look like. I have also been taking pictures of the food too. Here is a recipe card I did. Hopefully you can see the words because it's a simple recipe that tastes good. Try it sometime.

Photo Book

I have been working on a 8x8 bound book and these are the pages I have come up with. It's basically a book all about my daughter and the funny things she says and does. It's been fun using a bunch of different kits that I have gotten for each page.

I will be posting more as I do more pages.

Disneyland Princesses

So, here are two layouts I did for C's princesses. The Cinderella page was actually a QP all ready to have a picture put in. I didn't do anything except for put the picture in and do the date.
I love how this one turned out. Once I find what I used I'll put the credits for it on here.

Before and After

Before After

My friend gave away a free texture which I love. It is so neat. Since I am new to the whole Photoshop world I am not as good as everyone else. Here is my attempt at using her texture. It totally made the rocks have a neat look to them. Thanks Keri!

Here is a link to her blog with the free texture. Little Kiwis Photography (On Feb 21st)

Here is my version of the free kit by Amanda Heimann that was given. If you want this kit go to: Scrap Orchard to take advantage. You will have to sign up though.

Bridal Shower

Here are the scrapbook pages I did for my sister's bridal shower. I left them blank because I am going to have her put down what she wants. They turned out so cute.

I used this set called Spontaneous Delight from Shabby Princess. I love it. Check it out.

Digital Scrapbooking

I have entered the world of digital scrapbooking. I am so excited about this since it has taken me about a year to figure it out. I was only hung up on one thing and now I can't believe it's taken me this long to find out how to do it.

Here is my first scrapbook page. I have enjoyed making it and can't wait to do more. My next project is to do a bunch of pages for my sister who is getting married in March. I just got done with a couple of pages about the Bridal Shower I threw for her. They are turning out so cute. I will post them next.
